Format: The tournament will be pool play, four game guarantee (two games Saturday and two Sunday)
Game Rules for this friendly type tournament:
All playing rules and regulations for tournament will be governed by the 2008 ASA Official Guide and Rule Book. Because this is a graduation and school tournament weekend, some modifications to the rules are permitted. Teams have the option of free substitution and placing all players in the batting lineup. Teams may play with 7 players without taking an out in the empty batting slot. Teams may borrow opposing team players to assist in the field. Other rule modifications are allowed when the managers mutually agree.
Games are seven innings with a time limit. No new inning may start after one hour 45 minutes of the official start time set by the umpire. The home team will be determined by a coin toss prior to the start of every game.
To assure insurance coverage for the umpires, only teams registered with the ASAare eligible to participate. Teams not registered can register with the NH ASA at the tournament for a $50 fee. Teams should participate with the same roster as used in regular season play
Rain: In the event of rain, the Tournament Committee will modify the tournament schedule and format as necessary to make the best of the situation. Schedule change information will be available by calling the tournament voice mail at (603) 598-4176, or checking this web page. This telephone number is a voice mail only and can safely be called 24 hours per day. You won't wake anyone up!
